NAEC congratulates 2026 graduates
Mary Kate Chisenall
Mary Kate Chisenall, the daughter of Ben and Katie LeRoy, attends North Jackson High School and has been involved in many clubs during her high school career. Her father is a dispatcher with NAEC.
Mary Kate served as the color guard captain for two years and was a member of the team for four years. She also earned the honor of being inducted into the Sigma Kappa Delta English Honor Society, serving on the First Jackson Bank Junior Director Bank Board and is a member of the Student Government Association. After graduation, she plans to attend Wallace State Community College’s occupational therapy program and learn how to assist people with day-to-day activities.
Carter Guinn
A senior at Section High School, Carter Guinn plans on attending Jacksonville State
University to pursue a bachelor’s degree in sports broadcasting and analytics. Carter
played football and is playing golf this spring. Carter is the son of Brian Guinn and Cynthia
Pratt and the grandson of the late Reita and Donny Guinn as well as Becky and Marshall
Hicks. Carter’s father, Brian, has worked for NAEC for over 25 years. His grandfather,
Donny, also worked for the cooperative for
many years.
Carter will graduate with honors and received a merit scholarship from Jacksonville State.
Dalton Rorex
Dalton Rorex is the son of NAEC Billing Specialist Christy Rorex and Michael Rorex, of Bridgeport. He is a senior at North Jackson High School and participated in the electrical program at the Kevin Dukes Career and Innovation Academy. In 2025, he was awarded the silver medal in industrial motor controls at the SkillsUSA state competition. He plans to attend Northeast Alabama Community College in the fall.
Dalton is currently employed with Chandler Farms in Hollywood and helps his Poppa, Tommy Rorex, with local land-clearing jobs. Outside of work and school, Dalton enjoys duck hunting, fishing and spending time on the river.
Sally Alred
Sally Alred is the daughter of North Alabama Electric Cooperative Line Foreman
Eddie Alred. Eddie has worked at NAEC for over 33 years.
Sally, 18, is a member of the North Jackson High School Class of 2026. After
graduation, she plans to attend college and earn a degree in nursing.
